Blog 4: My pet

Hello everyone, today my blog is about my pet, his name is Rex, he is a German Shepherd and he came into my life 2017 when he was just 3 months old. My dad rescued him as he was suffering from animal abuse and was malnourished. When he arrived he was very small and fragile, it was hard for him to walk because of malnutrition and that caused a problem in his limbs. With a lot of love, perseverance and patience he was recovering as we took him to the vet and took care of him. Happily now he is a very strong dog, he likes to play ball, run and hunt mice, yes, as you read, he likes to hunt mice. We don't know why but there have been many times he has caught mice and left them outside the door of the house, for a big dog he is very skillful. Another fact about the rex is that he always barks a lot to people but not to children, he has never barked or attacked one, on the other hand, he has bitten people and it is because of the way he was raised when he was mistreated, the parents of the rex were guard dogs of land, they never gave them love or good treatment, they only had them to take care of them and many times they killed other dogs that crossed there. It is sad that there are people so cruel, but at least we managed to save the rex and his brother (an uncle took him), now with a lot of patience we have managed to make him a "violent" dog, but friendly and with pure desire to play and eat!

  2. I'm happy that you have Rex in your life. An animal can be the best friend of a human. Now, after that life of suffering, that puppy of 3 months olds is a very strong dog.. I think that he is bigger than me. For what you say, it shows that you love him so much, and he is very loved an cared.
